  • As a board member, I see my role as a champion for educators by advocating for comprehensive professional development opportunities and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed. Whether it’s providing access to the latest teaching tools, creating collaborative environments, or securing funding for continuing education, I am committed to empowering our teachers and support staff to grow professionally and enhance their ability to deliver quality education to our students.

  • I believe that supporting educators starts with ensuring they are fairly compensated and have access to robust benefits. As a board member, I have consistently advocated for competitive salaries, benefits packages, and recognition programs that honor the hard work and dedication of both teachers and support staff. By prioritizing their well-being and job satisfaction, I aim to create a working environment where educators feel valued and motivated to excel in their roles.

  • My role on the board is to foster a positive and collaborative work environment where educators feel supported and appreciated. This includes facilitating open communication channels between teachers, support staff, and the administration, as well as implementing policies that encourage teamwork and shared decision-making.

  • The collective bargaining process is essential in achieving fair and equitable outcomes for both educators and the district; it’s an opportunity to strengthen relationships between educators and the district. I view this process as a chance to build trust, address concerns, and create a positive working environment that ultimately benefits our students.

  • Understanding the importance of preparing our students for diverse career paths, I successfully advocated for the expansion of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in our district. By working with local businesses, community colleges, and industry leaders, I helped to create new CTE opportunities that align with the job market, providing students with valuable skills and certifications before they graduate

  • I believe that public funding should remain within the public education system to ensure that every dollar is used effectively and transparently to benefit all students. My priority is to ensure that our public schools have the necessary support to provide a high-quality education for all students, regardless of their background.
